Interactive Driver's Ed Course for Teens on Jan. 2-5

Dec 11, 2023

Western Nevada College’s driver’s education course teaches teen drivers through an interactive instruction program offered through the Continuing Education program.

Register your child for the Jan. 2-5 class for $95. The class meets from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily with a 30-minute break for lunch.

“Our program is meant to be engaging for students, so they do more than hear the information — they actually learn it!” said WNC Continuing Education Coordinator Lauren Slemenda. “Students will interact with each other and the instructor by playing games designed to reinforce lessons.”

Monteray Von Gesner will lead the course.

The class will conclude with the awarding of completion certificates. This course meets NAC 389.568 requirements for 30 hours of classroom driver education training for students under the age of 18.
