University Police Services Well-Represented at Coffee with a Cop

Coffee with a Cop gave students and staff an opportunity to build relationships with University Police Services.


Carson City Sheriff Kenny Furlong came to campus to meet with students and staff on Oct. 7.

Students and staff took the opportunity to meet with a members of University Police Services and Carson City Sheriff Kenny Furlong in an event billed as Coffee with a Cop on Oct. 7 outside the Student Center on the Carson City campus.
Donuts and coffee were served to the several dozen people who attended the event aimed at building relationships one cup at a time.
Besides plenty of conversation and refreshments, attendees enjoyed playing the lawn game cornhole.
University Police Services representatives who attended included Chief of Police Todd Renwick, Deputy Chief Eric James, Assistant to the Chief Tanya Wells, Officer Jennifer Maxwell, Lieutenant Josh Reynolds , Security Officer Robert Ramirez, Lieutenant John Galicia and Sergeant Chris Nero.
