JOIN Inc., Transforming and Changing Lives, Supports WNC Foundation's Fundraiser
Jul 20, 2023
For more than 50 years JOIN Inc. has committed to helping Nevadans train for the future of work in our state. They have the tools, connections and passion to help individuals find where they fit. They believe in opportunity, thrive on passion, bring hope to others, create solutions and move with authenticity. They are people helping people find their dream job or career. Through their partnership with Western Nevada College, JOIN assists people in changing their futures through higher education and timely training specific to workforce needs.
JOIN serves all 13 Northern Nevada counties and the Tahoe Basin, providing eligible individuals with access to free in-demand educational and career training programs that lead to licensure, accreditation, credentials and/or certification. By partnering with WNC, which offers a variety of educational and vocational programs, JOIN can tap into a broader range of training opportunities and resources. This enables JOIN to provide a more comprehensive skill development platform for job seekers, aligning their training with industry needs.
“We work together to eliminate barriers to education and foster a community of lifelong learners,” said Denise L. Castle, Chief Executive Officer, JOIN Inc. “Like WNC, we take pride in helping Nevadans find careers they love, many of whom are employed by local businesses.”
Naturally, JOIN supports WNC Foundation’s efforts to provide more access to higher education through fundraising events such as the sixth annual Reach for the Stars Gala, which will be held Saturday, Aug. 12 in the Joe Dini Library. JOIN has increased its support this year as the “Al Capone Live Auction Sponsor”.
“JOIN has shown an incredible amount of dedication and devotion to their clients by helping them find careers and jobs that will make them happy and transform their lives,” Executive Director of Advancement, Niki Gladys said. “JOIN’s generous support will help us continue to provide students with life-changing training and education that will strengthen the Northern Nevada workforce and provide individuals and families with more prosperous futures.”
